Aroha in my whanau
My mum cooks for the family all the time and that shows love for all of us. I also play football with my big brother and he says he is going to make me a pro.
My siblings often tell me to do them favours like vacuum the room or take their lunch things to the kitchen. Even though they ask me to do all the jobs, I know they still love me. Maybe it's because I’m the youngest.
My favourite whanau saying is: “Family is love to me.”
My favourite aroha symbol is:
Wycliffe
A few weeks ago we did our self portraits. I drew my head first and added my eyes, nose, ears and mouth. It was funny drawing my eyebrows. Then I draw my body and my school sweatshirt. Another day I had to colour everything in so it looked real. I tried to draw my cool hair.
One day we had to draw different lines with a white wax crayon. We had to show angry lines like a real dark one. Also a happy line which was wavy. Then we dyed it with blue dye and it looked really cool.
My action and feelings blurb that I want to share is "When I feel happy, I jump with my hands up."
